South Dakota High School Basketball - Flandreau tops Elkton/Lake Benton
February 3, 2024: Flandreau, SD 57028 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) and the visiting Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD), saw Flandreau's basketball squad knock off Elkton/Lake Benton by a tally of 54-38.
With the victory, Flandreau improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Fliers travel to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. DeSmet won 50-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD)
Next up, the Elks play the Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Elkton/Lake Benton will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
