New Jersey High School Basketball - Hillside ripped by Orange
February 3, 2024: Orange, NJ 07050 The Orange Tornadoes basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Hillside Comets to 47 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host University for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Orange will meet a Phoenix team coming off a 65-60 non-league loss to Weequahic (Newark, NJ). The Phoenix record now stands at 8-11.
The Comets (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ). The enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Eagle Academy triumphed over Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ), 40-33, in a league contest.
