Ohio High School Basketball - Jefferson tops Waynesfield-Goshen
February 3, 2024: Waynesfield, OH 45896 Jefferson Wildcats (Delphos, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH), 53-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Fort Jennings (Fort Jennings, OH) to play the Musketeers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Musketeers come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Fort Jennings won 47-25 in their recent non-league bout against Holgate (Holgate, OH)
Next up, the Tigers play the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) in a Northwest Central bout, on Friday, February 9. Waynesfield-Goshen will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
