Kentucky High School Basketball - Bullitt East overwhelms Washington County
February 3, 2024: Mt. Washington, KY 40047 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) and the visiting Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY), saw Bullitt East's basketball squad wallop Washington County by a tally of 72-20.
With the victory, Bullitt East improves its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The Chargers host Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 13-11. Elizabethtown won 61-59 in their recent league challenge against John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY)
Next up, the Commanders play the Southern Trojans (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Washington County will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 40-25 non-league win over Fairdale (Fairdale, KY).
