The Fossil Ridge SaberCats (Fort Collins, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), 58-36 in Saturday's league test.

The SaberCats (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Range (Westminster, CO). The Mustangs go into the 6A Front Range test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Mountain Range was trounced by Poudre (Fort Collins, CO), 61-22, in a league test.

The Lightning now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Poudre for a 6A Front Range test on Tuesday, February 6. Legacy will encounter a Impalas squad coming off a 61-22 league win over Mountain Range (Westminster, CO). The Impalas record now stands at 11-8.
