Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) and the host Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL), saw Grant Community's basketball squad wallop Round Lake by a tally of 49-20.

With the victory, Grant Community improves its record to 11-15 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Lakes (Lake Villa, IL) to play the Eagles in a Northern Lake County challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-15.

Next up, the Panthers play the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Round Lake will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-18 record after their 59-31 non-league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL).
