California High School Basketball - Santa Fe Christian topped by Steele Canyon

The Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Santa Fe Christian Eagles to 38 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Hills for a Grossmont - Valley contest on Tuesday, February 6. Steele Canyon will battle a Wolf Pack team coming off a 54-12 league win over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 17-7.

The Eagles (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Eagles go into the Pacific bout with a 13-8 record. In their last bout, Tri-City Christian topped Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA), 49-36, in a league bout.
