The St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting St. Anthony Yellowjackets to 24 in the Bloodhounds league triumph on Saturday.

The Bloodhounds now sport a 22-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to TMI-Episcopal for a TAPPS 5A District 4 contest on Tuesday, February 6. St. Joseph Academy will meet a Panthers team coming off a 59-28 league loss to San Antonio Christian (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-13.

The Yellowjackets (15-14) will now prepare for their contest against St. Augustine (Laredo, TX). The Knights enter the TAPPS 5A District 4 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, St. Augustine ran past St. Joseph (Victoria, TX), 46-43, in a league contest.
