North Carolina High School Basketball - Greenfield holds off Wilson Prep
February 3, 2024: Wilson, NC 27896 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) and the host Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC), saw Greenfield's basketball squad hold off Wilson Prep by a tally of 64-62.
With the victory, Greenfield improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Knights host John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC) to confront the Saints in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. John Paul II Catholic won 42-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC)
Next up, the Tigers confront the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Wilson Prep will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Pride come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 74-31 league loss to Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC).
