Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge triumphant over Mercersburg Academy

February 3, 2025: St. George, VA 22935

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) and the visiting Mercersburg Academy Storm (Mercersburg, PA), observed Blue Ridge's basketball team overwhelm Mercersburg Academy by a score of 82-59.

The Barons (23-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Anne's-Belfield trounced Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA), 89-66, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Phelps Lions (Malvern, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Mercersburg Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record.
