With the victory, Simsboro advances its record to 16-12 on the year. The Tigers host Doyline (Doyline, LA) to face the Panthers in a B District 1 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 19-4. Doyline lost 70-61 in their recent non-league match against Georgetown (Georgetown, LA)
The Cougars now own a 11-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgetown for a C District 2 match on Friday, February 7. Calvin will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 86-62 non-league loss to Choudrant (Choudrant, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 24-9.
