West Virginia High School Basketball - Clay County holds off Man
February 3, 2025: Clay, WV 25043 The Clay County Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Man Hillbillies to 56 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun for a Little Kanawha - East game on Tuesday, February 4. Clay County will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 81-36 non-league win over Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Man falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Hillbillies travel to Mount View (Welch, WV) to confront the Golden Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4.
