Virginia High School Basketball - Glen Allen holds off Riverbend

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Glen Allen Jaguars basketball team scored a close 68-67 triumph over the Riverbend Bears.

The Jaguars (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers go into the Colonial contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Hermitage was tipped by Freeman (Richmond, VA), 60-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bears confront the Stafford Indians (Falmouth, VA) in a Commonwealth contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Riverbend will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 6-12 record after their 50-41 league loss to North Stafford (Stafford, VA).
