February 3, 2025: Whiting, IA 51063 Hamburg Wildcats (Hamburg, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), 80-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hamburg upgrades its record to 3-14 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Stanton (Stanton, IA) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 7-9. Stanton lost 49-44 in their recent league match against East Mills (Malvern, IA)
The Warriors now sport a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Omaha Christian Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. Whiting will face a Eagles squad coming off a 70-54 non-league loss to Omaha Nation (Macy, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 4-13.
