Iowa High School Basketball - West Bend-Mallard sneaks past Harris-Lake Park
February 3, 2025: West Bend, IA 50597 The West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) basketball edged the visiting Harris-Lake Park Wolves (Lake Park, IA), 58-54 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Webster for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. West Bend-Mallard will play a Cougars team coming off a 79-28 non-league win over Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 14-4.
With the loss, Harris-Lake Park falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to South O'Brien (Paullina, IA) to play the Wolverines in a War Eagle bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 12-6. South O'Brien won 66-43 in their recent non-league bout against Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD)
