Virginia High School Basketball - Powhatan triumphant over Dinwiddie
February 3, 2025: Powhatan, VA 23139 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) and the visiting Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA), observed Powhatan's basketball team overwhelm Dinwiddie by a margin of 63-29.
The Indians (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Falcons come into the Dominion challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Huguenot was trounced by L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA), 60-30, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Generals battle the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) in a Central challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Dinwiddie will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 76-49 non-league loss to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA).
