In Monday's non-league contest, the host St. George's Athletes basketball team scored a big 63-12 win over the Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles.

The Athletes (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Flint River Academy (Woodbury, GA). The Wildcats come into the GIAA A Region 5 contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Flint River Academy was trounced by Windsor Academy (Macon, GA), 60-40, in a non-league contest.
