The Kiowa Indians basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Miami-Yoder Buffaloes to 37 in the Indians league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elbert for a 1A Black Forrest contest on Monday, February 8. Kiowa will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-46 non-league loss to Byers (Byers, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
The Buffaloes (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bethune (Bethune, CO). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Bethune ran past Hanover (Colorado Springs, CO), 53-48, in a non-league contest.
