The Joppatowne Mariners basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Aberdeen Eagles to 65 in the Mariners league triumph on Friday.

The Mariners now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Havre de Grace for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake contest on Tuesday, February 8. Joppatowne will face a Warriors team coming off a 68-45 league loss to C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Aberdeen moves to 12-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Edgewood (Edgewood, MD) to face the Rams in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake game on Tuesday, February 8.
