The Horizon Huskies basketball team (Scottsdale, AZ), was nudged 48-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Wolves now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paradise Valley for a 5A Northeast Valley battle on Tuesday, February 8. Desert Mountain will confront a Trojans team coming off a 60-50 league loss to Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ). The Trojans record now stands at 2-22.

The Huskies (15-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Falcons come into the 5A Northeast Valley battle with a 11-13 record. In their last battle, Cactus Shadows was nudged by McClintock (Tempe, AZ), 58-49, in a league battle.
