Maryland High School Basketball - Episcopal holds off Landon
February 4, 2022: Bethesda, MD 20817 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA) and the host Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD), saw Episcopal's basketball squad hold off Landon by a tally of 76-73.
With the victory, Episcopal improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Maroon travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to confront the Huskies in a Mid-Atlantic challenge on Saturday, February 5. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Flint Hill won 100-76 in their recent league challenge against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Bears confront the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 5. Landon will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 55-50 league loss to Maret (Washington, DC).
