The Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 63-59 in Friday's league test.

The Spartans (17-11) will now prepare for their test against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs go into the non-league test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, University Lab got by Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA), 60-52, in a non-league test.
