Minnesota High School Basketball - Sleepy Eye ripped by St. Mary's
February 4, 2022: Sleepy Eye, MN 56085 The St. Mary's Knights basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Sleepy Eye Indians to 45 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart for a A Section 2 contest on Tuesday, February 8. St. Mary's will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 65-50 non-league win over Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-10.
The Indians (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Thunderbirds enter the A Section 2 contest with a 3-15 record.
