Virginia High School Basketball - King's Fork overwhelms Deep Creek
February 4, 2022: Suffolk, VA 23434 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) and the visiting Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA), saw King's Fork's basketball squad wallop Deep Creek by a count of 68-30.
With the victory, King's Fork upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Churchland (Portsmouth, VA) to play the Truckers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 5. The Truckers come into the challenge with a record of 10-7.
Next up, the Hornets play the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Deep Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 55-33 league win over Indian River (Chesapeake, VA).
