The Morton Indians basketball team (Morton, TX), was overwhelmed 50-25 in Friday's league battle with the host Plains Cowboys (Plains, TX)

The Cowboys now possess a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seagraves for a 2A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, February 8. Plains will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 45-18 non-league loss to Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-14.

The Indians now hold a 1-13 record.
