North Carolina High School Basketball - Northampton County knocked off by Southeast Halifax

February 4, 2022: Gaston, NC 27832

The Southeast Halifax Trojans basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Northampton County Jaguars to 32 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tarboro for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 8. Southeast Halifax will meet a Vikings team coming off a 55-44 league loss to Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 10-4.

The Jaguars (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors enter the 1A Conference 9 contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, North Edgecombe was defeated by Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC), 46-37, in a league contest.
