North Carolina High School Basketball - Scotland ripped by Pinecrest

February 4, 2022: Southern Pines, NC 28387

The Pinecrest Patriots basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots to 19 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Lee for a 3A/4A Conference 24 contest on Monday, February 7. Pinecrest will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 57-16 league loss to Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-12.

The Fighting Scots (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the 3A/4A Conference 24 contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Lee County was routed by Richmond (Rockingham, NC), 71-47, in a league contest.
