Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) and the host Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI), saw Walled Lake Central's basketball squad hold off Walled Lake Western by a tally of 45-41.

With the victory, Walled Lake Central improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Vikings host South Lyon (South Lyon, MI) to confront the Lions in a Lakes Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.
