Illinois High School Basketball - St. Laurence fells Chicago Mt. Carmel
February 4, 2022: Chicago, IL 60637 St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL), 44-34 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Laurence upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings host Leo (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Lions in a bout on Friday, February 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Leo lost 40-35 in their recent league bout against St. Rita (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Caravan clash with the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Chicago Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 19-6 season record. The Ramblers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 37-23 league win over Leo (Chicago, IL).
