New York High School Basketball - Albany Academy for Boys thwarts Shenendehowa
February 4, 2023: Clifton Park, NY 12065 The Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) basketball knocked off the host Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY), 61-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cadets (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Green Tech (Albany, NY). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Green Tech notched a victory over Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY), 74-54, in a non-league test.
The Plainsmen now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Bethlehem Central for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test on Tuesday, February 7. Shenendehowa will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 61-45 non-league win over Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 13-5.
