February 4, 2023: Lincolnton, GA 30817 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA) and the host Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA), saw Aquinas's basketball squad overcome Lincoln County by a tally of 53-41.
With the victory, Aquinas improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Fightin' Irish host Warren County (Warrenton, GA) to confront the Screaming Devils in a A D2 Region 8B challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Screaming Devils come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Warren County won 66-30 in their recent league challenge against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA)
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots (Hephzibah, GA) in a A D2 Region 8B challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Lincoln County will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 57-40 league loss to Greene County (Greensboro, GA).
