Blair Bears (Blair, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE), 46-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blair upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Bears travel to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE) to clash with the Antlers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Antlers go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Elkhorn won 63-47 in their recent non-league bout against Waverly (Waverly, NE)

Next up, the Bluejays clash with the Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Seward will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Jeffs go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to Heartland (Henderson, NE).
