Oregon High School Basketball - Burns topples Riverside
February 4, 2023: Burns, OR 97720 In Saturday's league outing, the Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR), by a count of 36-26.
The Hilanders (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Buckaroos go into the non-league outing with a 10-11 record. In their last outing, Pendleton was topped by Baker (Baker City, OR), 67-52, in a league outing.
The Pirates now hold a 2-16 record. They play next when they host McLoughlin for a 3A Eastern Oregon outing on Tuesday, February 7. Riverside will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 57-49 league win over Nyssa (Nyssa, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-15.
