Ohio High School Basketball - Columbian nips Wayne Trace
February 4, 2023: Haviland, OH 45851 Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wayne Trace Raiders (Haviland, OH), 58-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Columbian upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Tornadoes host Vermilion (Vermilion, OH) to play the Sailors in a Sandusky Bay - Lake bout on Friday, February 10. The Sailors go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Vermilion lost 49-46 in their recent league bout against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH)
Next up, the Raiders play the Paulding Panthers (Paulding, OH) in a Green Meadows bout, on Friday, February 10. Wayne Trace will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 72-49 non-league win over Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH).
