Michigan High School Basketball - Dakota can't hold off Norrix
February 4, 2023: Kalamazoo, MI 49001 The Norrix Knights basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Dakota Cougars to 53 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeshore for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Norrix will battle a Lancers team coming off a 58-43 league loss to St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 6-7.
The Cougars (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Blue Devils come into the Macomb Area - Red contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Grosse Pointe South edged L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI), 61-54, in a league contest.
