South Dakota High School Basketball - Faith nips Harding County

February 4, 2023: Buffalo, SD 57720

Faith Longhorns (Faith, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD), 75-71 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Faith upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Hettinger/Scranton (Hettinger, ND) to play the Black Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Black Devils come into the bout with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Ranchers play the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD) in a B Region 8 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Harding County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Thunderhawks come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 98-89 non-league win over Dupree (Dupree, SD).
