February 4, 2023: Colton, SD 57018 The Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD) basketball nudged the host Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD), 62-56 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gayville-Volin for a B Region 4 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Freeman Academy/Marion will battle a Raiders team coming off a 59-27 non-league loss to Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 3-11.
The Mustangs (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Orioles enter the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Lennox was nudged by Moorhead (Moorhead, MN), 83-74, in a non-league contest.
