February 4, 2023: Victoria, MN 55386 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Holy Family Catholic Fire (Victoria, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN), by a margin of 80-37.
The Fire (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN). The Stars go into the AA Section 5 outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Southwest Christian smashed Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN), 73-57, in a non-league outing.
The Crusaders now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they host Belle Plaine for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Mayer Lutheran will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 82-46 league win over Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
