Wisconsin High School Basketball - Homestead knocked off by Whitnall
February 4, 2023: Greenfield, WI 53228 The Whitnall Falcons basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Homestead Highlanders to 68 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shorewood for a Woodland - East contest on Tuesday, February 7. Whitnall will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 66-47 league loss to Milwaukee Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI). The Greyhounds record now stands at 6-9.
The Highlanders (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hartford (Hartford, WI). The Orioles enter the North Shore contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Hartford was defeated by Slinger (Slinger, WI), 80-73, in a league contest.
