Ohio High School Basketball - Kalida nips Wapakoneta
February 4, 2023: Kalida, OH 45853 Kalida Wildcats (Kalida, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wapakoneta Redskins (Wapakoneta, OH), 43-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kalida upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Continental (Continental, OH) to play the Pirates in a Putnam County bout on Friday, February 10. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 7-10. Continental won 37-36 in their recent non-league bout against Montpelier (Montpelier, OH)
Next up, the Redskins play the Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) in a Western Buckeye bout, on Friday, February 17. Wapakoneta will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
