February 4, 2023: Circleville, OH 43113 In Saturday's non-league outing, the New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen (Circleville, OH) basketball squad felled the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), by a margin of 62-47.
The Statesmen (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH). The Cougar go into the non-league outing with a 2-11 record.
The Vikings now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to River Valley for a Tri-Valley I outing on Tuesday, February 7. Vinton County will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 66-55 league loss to Wellston (Wellston, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 1-18.
