Missouri High School Basketball - Thayer crushes Notre Dame
February 4, 2023: Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 Thayer Bobcats (Thayer, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO), 79-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Thayer upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Bobcats host Salem (Salem, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a South Central bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Salem won 72-63 in their recent league bout against Cabool (Cabool, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Hillsboro Hawks (Hillsboro, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 105-102 league win over Festus (Festus, MO).
