February 4, 2023: Pewaukee, WI 53072 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pewaukee Pirates (Pewaukee, WI) and the visiting Waukesha South Blackshirts (Waukesha, WI), saw Pewaukee's basketball squad wallop Waukesha South by a count of 90-50.
With the victory, Pewaukee upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Milwaukee Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI) to play the Red Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Red Knights come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Milwaukee Lutheran won 66-47 in their recent league challenge against Shorewood (Shorewood, WI)
Next up, the Blackshirts play the Catholic Memorial Crusaders (Waukesha, WI) in a Classic Eight challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Waukesha South will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 65-43 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI).
