February 4, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27105 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Winston-Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA), saw Winston-Salem Christian's basketball squad knock off Rabun Gap-Nacoochee by a tally of 80-67.
With the victory, Winston-Salem Christian improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Moravian Prep (Hudson, NC) to play the Lions in a Freelance challenge on Sunday, February 5. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 27-4. Moravian Prep won 81-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Shining Star Sports Academy (Petersburg, VA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Legacy Early College Lions (Greenville, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will attempt to improve on its 21-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 95-57 non-league win over Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC).
