Ohio High School Basketball - South Range holds off Springfield
February 4, 2023: Canfield, OH 44406 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Range Raiders (Canfield, OH) and the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), saw South Range's basketball squad hold off Springfield by a tally of 35-34.
With the victory, South Range improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host Hubbard (Hubbard, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Northeast 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Hubbard lost 47-34 in their recent league challenge against Girard (Girard, OH)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 64-55 league win over Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH).
