Michigan High School Basketball - Start fells University Prep Art & Design
February 4, 2023: Detroit, MI 48202 Start Spartans (Toledo, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host University Prep Art & Design Mustangs (Detroit, MI), 42-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Start upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Scott (Toledo, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Toledo City bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Scott won 70-50 in their recent league bout against Bowsher (Toledo, OH)
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the University Prep Science & Math Cobra (Detroit, MI) in a Michigan Metro bout, on Friday, February 10. University Prep Art & Design will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Cobra go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 68-58 league loss to Trillium Academy (Taylor, MI).
