Ohio High School Basketball - Westfall overwhelms Wellston
February 4, 2023: Williamsport, OH 43164 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH) and the visiting Wellston Golden Rockets (Wellston, OH), saw Westfall's basketball squad wallop Wellston by a tally of 58-26.
With the victory, Westfall improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign.
Next up, the Golden Rockets confront the Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Wellston will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 37-26 league loss to Vinton County (McArthur, OH).
