February 4, 2023: Kent City, MI 49330 The Brethren Bobcats basketball team (Brethren, MI), was overwhelmed 59-25 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Kent City Eagles (Kent City, MI)
The Eagles now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Montcalm for a Central State battle on Friday, February 10. Kent City will confront a Hornets team coming off a 63-44 non-league loss to Meridian (Sanford, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 10-8.
The Bobcats (16-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marion (Marion, MI). The Eagles come into the West Michigan D battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Marion was overwhelmed by Catholic Central (Manistee, MI), 45-38, in a league battle.
