Colorado High School Basketball - Montezuma-Cortez trounced by Centauri

February 4, 2023: La Jara, CO 81140

The Centauri Falcons routed the visiting Montezuma-Cortez Panthers basketball team by a final score of 79-26 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a 4A/3A Intermountain game, on Friday, February 10. Centauri will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The Mean Moose enter the game with a 14-4 record after their 52-33 league win over Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO).

With the defeat, Montezuma-Cortez moves to 4-9 on the year. The Panthers host Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 8. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 12-2.
