The University Phoenix (Newark, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ), 68-31 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Phoenix (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Columbia walloped Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ), 46-42, in a non-league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Nutley for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7.
